We open the 21st annual Chicago Palestine Film Festival with a small reception featuring live Oud music, photos and mingling. Festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. The Film will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Featuring prominent Palestinian actor, Saleh Bakri, the Badri family have escaped the pollution and social unrest of Beirut by seeking refuge in a mountain home they have built. Their utopia is destroyed when the construction of a landfill begins next door.
