The third film of the Falasteen Film Fridays series will be “Amreeka.”

A heart-warming and funny film, "Amreeka" follows the struggles of a single Palestinian mother immigrating to the United States and trying to build a life for herself and son in small-town Illinois. Preceding that film will be "Made in Palestine," a short film about the last-remaining kuffiyeh factory in Palestine.

Afterwards will be a discussion with Arab American Family Services (AAFS), a community organization offering a wide range of services to anyone in need.
